The Village of St. Joseph requires a liquor license for any business wishing to sell or serve alcoholic beverages, or engage in on-site gaming activity. Applicants must complete the official license application, provide all required documentation, and meet state and local regulations. Licenses are reviewed and approved by the Liquor Commissioner if there are open licenses available. If there are not open licenses available, the Board will entertain this request by filling out the "Liquor License Request Intake form. A Facility Use Permit is required to reserve and use Village-owned facilities such as parks (not athletic fields), pavilions, or meeting spaces for events or activities. This permit ensures proper scheduling, use of amenities, and compliance with Village policies. It helps maintain our facilities and ensures fair access for all residents and organizations. Applications should be submitted in advance and may be subject to approval and fees.
