Village Clerk – Serving since 2023

The Village Clerk is a key appointed official, responsible for maintaining the official records and documents of the Village of St. Joseph. Appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Board of Trustees, the Clerk performs a number of essential duties, including:

  • Preparing and maintaining minutes of Village Board meetings

  • Publishing public notices in accordance with the law

  • Maintaining ordinances, resolutions, and official Village records

  • Managing local election responsibilities as required

  • Responding to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests

The Village Clerk plays an important role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and accessibility in local government operations.
