Woodard Balloon Rides at Woodard Community Park (click for more pictures)

Many Thanks to Mark Woodard for the spontaneous Balloon Rides at the Woodard Family Community Park and Sports Complex in July.

Mark was back home visiting after attending the Vermilion County Balloon Festival and wanted to share his balloon with the Community that he grew up in.  He shared his balloon with tethered rides over the park with well over 50 local kids and their parents on a beautiful Sunday evening.

Mark is a retired American Airlines Captain and grew up living in St. Joseph.  His family donated the grounds for the Village park.  The balloon is named "Carpe Diem" Latin for "Seize the Day".  Mark is always ready to say, "Hey let's go for a ride to see and enjoy this wonderful world God has given us!"

We appreciate your generosity!
